Terms and conditions

§1 Placing of order

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to contracts between Dr. Sylvia Löhken and her customers. These contracts refer to services that were offered via the websites www.intros-extros.com, www.leise-menschen.com, www.text-atrium.com, or in direct oral or written contact. Dr. Sylvia Löhken is entitled to transfer the performance of the agreed services to a qualified, freelance or salaried employee, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

In principle, the events are open to everyone. Nevertheless, Dr. Sylvia Löhken reserves the right to refuse a registration. She can agree on a minimum number of participants for the event.

The allocation of places is based on the order of registrations for the respective events. If a registration cannot be considered, we will inform the respective persons immediately.

§2 Remuneration

The remuneration for a service provided by Dr. Sylvia Löhken is determined by the agreement between the parties. If there is no individual agreement between the parties, the remuneration for the respective event is determined by the current price specification at the time of the conclusion of the contract (verbally, in the booking form and/or as an information sheet in digital form). To all prices, we will add the statutory value-added tax of currently 19 percent to the invoice.

The participation fee for open seminars includes all seminar documents as well as conference drinks and snacks during breaks (without lunch).

§3 Cancellation

The customer is entitled to cancel an order or an agreed date in writing. If an order is cancelled more than 30 calendar days before an agreed date, no cancellation fee will be charged. The following cancellation fees apply for cancellations at shorter notice:

30 days to 14 calendar days before the planned date: 50 percent of the agreed fee

13 days before the planned date or shorter: 100 percent of the agreed fee.

Travel expenses already incurred by Dr. Sylvia Löhken or participating employees will be charged to the client. The cancellation fee is also due if a new appointment is agreed as a replacement. The customer can name replacement participants at any time. If Dr. Sylvia Löhken and/or a participating employee is prevented from carrying out the agreed assignment due to illness, flight strikes or other important reasons, a alternative date will be arranged with the customer if possible.

In the case of open seminars, the participant may provide a substitute. This person takes over the slot of the participant and pays the same price as was agreed with the previous participant. The substitute person must meet the conditions of participation; in addition, Dr. Sylvia Löhken (as the organizer) must have agreed to the participation. In this case, the previous participant will be reimbursed the entire fee.

Termination or cancellation of open events by the organizer

An event may be cancelled or postponed for compelling reasons, e.g. if the minimum number of participants is not reached, if the organiser or one of the employees involved falls ill or has an accident, or due to force majeure. An important reason is also gross misconduct on the part of a participant towards the organizer, if their conduct towards employees or participants makes cooperation no longer reasonable.

If the event is cancelled, we will immediately inform all those directly affected in writing and, in the event of cancellation, refund any participation fees already paid. Any further claims are excluded, except in cases of intentional or grossly negligent behaviour on the part of the event organizer.

Participants are advised to conclude travel cancellation insurance.

§4 Invoicing

The invoice is payable upon receipt as stated on the invoice. As a rule, all payments are due without any deductions at the latest 14 days after receipt of an invoice, and immediately in the case of registrations via a service provider.

In the case of registrations for open events that are received less than one week before the event, the event fee is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice and no later than the day of the event. In the case of non-payment on the day of the event at the latest, participation is excluded. If the participant does not appear at the beginning of the event, no refund or the full amount is due, unless the participant has effectively withdrawn from the event.

§5 Liability

Dr. Sylvia Löhken is liable for damages caused by her or by third parties commissioned by her with intent or gross negligence. Any further liability is excluded. The exclusion of liability does not apply to personal injury.

§6 Secrecy and data protection

Dr. Sylvia Löhken treats customer-related data and provided documents confidentially and on the basis of the DSGVO. Data will only be used for order processing and for information about further offers. Customer-related data will not be passed on to third parties.

The data protection regulations under https://www.intros-extros.com/footer-menu/datenschutz/ apply to our websites and our handling of data.

§7 Copyrights

All copyrights and other property rights of the concepts, documents, texts and publications created are the exclusive property of Dr. Sylvia Löhken. The customer is not entitled to reproduce or pass on concepts, documents or texts in whole or in part.

§8 Final clauses

Oral collateral agreements were not made. Changes or additions to the contract must be made in writing. This also applies to a change of the written form clause.

These General Terms and Conditions shall apply exclusively. No other terms and conditions have been agreed.
